CVSS v3.1 |
| Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) PresentMon before version 2.3.1 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| Privilege context switching error in Windows Administrator Protection allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC driver on Windows allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC driver: from 1.0.0 through 2.0.0. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in MongoDB BI Connector ODBC driver allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects BI Connector ODBC driver: from 1.0.0 through 1.4.6. |
| A flaw was found in Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). Read-only scoped OAuth2 API Tokens in AAP, are enforced at the Gateway level for Gateway-specific operations. However, this vulnerability allows read-only tokens to perform write operations on backend services (e.g., Controller, Hub, EDA). If this flaw were exploited, an attacker‘s capabilities would only be limited by role based access controls (RBAC). |
| A vulnerability in Brocade Fabric OS before 9.2.1c3 could allow elevating the privileges of the local authenticated user to “root” using the export option of seccertmgmt and seccryptocfg commands. |
| Authenticated arbitrary file write vulnerability exists in the web-based management interface of mobility conductors running either AOS-10 or AOS-8 operating systems. Successful exploitation could allow an authenticated malicious actor to create or modify arbitrary files and execute arbitrary commands as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. |
| Insecure inherited permissions for some Intel(R) Graphics Software before version 25.30.1702.0 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. |
| Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Graphics Driver software within Ring 2: Privileged Process may allow an escalation of privilege. |
| Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Memory and Storage Tool before version 2.5.2 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. System software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. |
| In JetBrains Kotlin before 1.4.21, a vulnerable Java API was used for temporary file and folder creation. An attacker was able to read data from such files and list directories due to insecure permissions. |
| Joomla Guru extension 5.2.5 is affected by: Insecure Permissions. The impact is: obtain sensitive information (remote). The component is: Access to private information and components, possibility to view other users' information. Information disclosure Access to private information and components, possibility to view other users' information. |
| A vulnerability has been identified where weak file permissions in the Nessus Agent directory on Windows hosts could allow unauthorized access, potentially permitting Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. |
| File and directory permissions have been corrected to prevent unintended users from modifying or accessing resources. It would be more difficult for an authenticated attacker to now traverse through the files and directories. This can only be exploited once an attacker has already found a way to get authenticated access to the device. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in Portabilis i-Educar up to 2.9.10. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file app/Http/Controllers/AccessLevelController.php of the component User Type Handler. The manipulation leads to insecure inherited permissions. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. |
| A temp directory creation vulnerability exists in all versions of Guava, allowing an attacker with access to the machine to potentially access data in a temporary directory created by the Guava API com.google.common.io.Files.createTempDir(). By default, on unix-like systems, the created directory is world-readable (readable by an attacker with access to the system). The method in question has been marked @Deprecated in versions 30.0 and later and should not be used. For Android developers, we recommend choosing a temporary directory API provided by Android, such as context.getCacheDir(). For other Java developers, we recommend migrating to the Java 7 API java.nio.file.Files.createTempDirectory() which explicitly configures permissions of 700, or configuring the Java runtime's java.io.tmpdir system property to point to a location whose permissions are appropriately configured. |
| An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists in Windows Setup in the way it handles permissions.
A locally authenticated attacker could run arbitrary code with elevated system privileges. After successfully exploiting the vulnerability, an attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.
The security update addresses the vulnerability by ensuring Windows Setup properly handles permissions. |

Dell PowerScale OneFS versions 8.2.x through 9.6.0.x contains an incorrect default permissions vulnerability. A local low privileges malicious user could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to denial of service.
|
|
Dell PowerScale OneFS 9.5.0.x contains an incorrect default permissions vulnerability. A low-privileged local attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information disclosure or allowing to modify files.
|
|
Dell PowerScale OneFS, 8.0.x-9.5.x, contains an improper handling of insufficient privileges vulnerability. A local privileged attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to elevation of privilege and affect in compliance mode also.
